Joyners Find is situated within the Wiluna Greenstone Belt, Mid-West Region of Western Australia, approximately 960 km northeast of Perth. The terrain is characterised by flat to gently undulating semi-arid plains with shallow regolith profiles overlying Archaean basement sequences. This low-relief topography facilitates bulk earthmoving operations with minimal pre-stripping complexity, though seasonal dust suppression and haul road stabilisation remain critical operational variables for maintaining productivity benchmarks.

The project operates under a FIFO rotational roster model, with personnel mobilised primarily through Wiluna's regional airstrip or via DIDO corridors from Meekatharra. As a Joint Venture between Fe Limited (60%) and GWR Group (40%), procurement and contractor engagement follow dual-entity governance protocols. Remote camp support — including catering, medical, and communications infrastructure — is essential given the site's isolation exceeding 200 km from the nearest service township.

Haul road design must account for fine iron ore dust generation, mandating sealed or chemically-treated surfaces to protect equipment and comply with air quality standards.
