The Moonbeam mine is located in the Kunanalling district, Goldfields-Esperance region, Western Australia — a semi-arid landscape characterised by extreme thermal ranges, with summer surface temperatures routinely exceeding 40 °C. This environment imposes critical thermal management demands on heavy machinery, hydraulic systems, and surface infrastructure. Moonbeam is an actively producing underground operation within Evolution Mining's Kundana operational hub, feeding the central Mungari processing facility. Continuous underground extraction demands uninterrupted diesel fuel supply and reliable high-voltage power distribution to sustain ventilation fans, hoisting systems, and fixed plant around the clock.
