The operation runs on a continuous 24/7 production cycle, entirely dependent on diesel-fired generation sets for primary power — grid connectivity is non-existent at this remote coordinate. Diesel burn rates represent a dominant OPEX variable, making fuel supply contracts and generator maintenance agreements among the highest-priority B2B procurement categories on site.

Golden Spec exploits high-grade narrow-vein underground ore bodies typical of the Nullagine greenstone corridor. Material handling relies on a sequential underground-to-surface flow involving ore passes, load-haul-dump (LHD) units, and surface conveyor systems feeding the run-of-mine (ROM) pad. Given the narrow-vein geometry, selective mining methods are prioritized to maximize grade control and minimize dilution.
